The Business

A homeowner describes a remodeling project by text, voice, or live video. Our AI contractor runs a real consultation — it sees the space through the phone camera, assesses materials and condition, scopes the work, and produces an accurate, regionally-priced estimate in minutes, replacing the slow, expensive in-person site visit. We then match the homeowner with a vetted, insured crew and run the project end-to-end: contracts, procurement, scheduling, and milestone payments. Crews just build.

We monetize two ways: small remodeling crews pay a ~$500/month subscription for pre-sold, scoped jobs with the admin handled (recurring revenue), and we take a ~20% fee on project value (coordination + procurement) inside one transparent, all-inclusive price. On a typical $15K project that's ~$3,000 revenue at ~83% gross margin. Per-crew economics compound — each crew running ~3–4 projects/month drives subscription plus project-fee revenue.

The Market

US residential remodeling is a ~$500B/year market — large, recurring, and almost entirely offline. It's served by ~1.2M contractors, ~80% of them 1–5 person crews operating as disconnected micro-businesses with no brand, no software, and no pricing data. There is no dominant operating system and no trusted national brand, making it ripe for aggregation — the same shape as what ride-sharing did to taxis.

It's bigger than it looks: AI collapses the cost of the estimate to near zero, letting us profitably serve the long tail of smaller jobs and convert remodels that never happen today because the process feels too opaque to trust — growing the market, not just splitting it. The opportunity expands along three vectors: adjacent trades using the same estimating engine; unit turns and value-add rehabs for institutional rental operators (a large recurring B2B market); and international, where the same pain is even sharper. Underneath, we're building an AI that can see, scope, and price physical-world work — a platform well beyond remodeling.

Objective/Future (Use of funds)

The $1.5M raise will be deployed across four areas to execute our Houston market entry and prove the model at scale:
45% — AI Development & Training ($675K): Continued development of our voice + vision scoping engine, real-time material pricing integrations, automated contract and PO generation, and AI model training on live project data to improve pricing accuracy across Houston zip codes.
35% — Operations & Expansion ($525K): Onboarding and supporting contractor crews through the platform, field operations coordination, and expansion from our initial pilot contractor to 10 crews within 12 months and 100 crews by month 18.
15% — Sales & Customer Acquisition ($225K): Direct outreach to remodeling crews in the Houston metro, partnership development, and homeowner-side growth once supply is established.
5% — Compliance & Legal ($75K): Delaware C-Corp maintenance, contractor agreement frameworks, payment processing compliance, and IP protection.
Milestones this round unlocks: First closed GMV transaction within 60 days → 10 contractor partners by month 12 running 180 projects ($220K revenue) → 100 contractors by month 18 running 1,800 projects ($2.2M revenue).

Growth Roadmap
